How Birdie Came to Be
I've always worn loud outfits on the course, and I was always disappointed with the louder gloves that were available. The more fun it looked, the worse the quality.
So I started Birdie in Hand with a simple, but challenging goal: create a golf glove that's better than anything out there while adding some style and personality.
Because golf should be fun, and your glove should be, too.

Engineered To Be Better
The vast majority of golf gloves come from the same factories in a single region of a single country. They have the same construction. They're the same color. The only difference is the shape of the closure and the type and quality of the leather. They haven't been improved upon in decades.
So I asked, "How can I make a better one?" and I got to work. I analyzed and took apart every major commercially available glove to identify areas of improvement.
Ruthless Attention To Detail
Golf gloves are simple products, and they are the way they are for a simple reason: It's easy and cheap.
Making a better glove is hard. You have to push factories to do things that are challenging and expensive. But I believe making a better product is worth the effort.
It took over a dozen prototypes to get to our production glove. I vetted 17 different manufacturers before I found one who could create a product to my exacting standards. We got in so many fights over small details, Birdie almost never launched!

Fun & Functional
Most products that have a little flare are gimmicky crap that's worse than the baseline. Fuck that.
My standard was better quality than anything readily available AND more fun.
That's what we have with Birdie In Hand gloves today, and my mission is to keep improving every chance we get.
